Context window limits. I like to approach problems holistically so I frequently ask Planners to explore multiple angles, consider edge cases, double check plans against the code, and explain things to me until I understand them. So I burn through context windows fast. I noticed that compaction can drop good context or even the decisions made during planning, so now I checkpoint FD progress often.
